Westwood Youth Soccer sets mandatory coaches meetings and a Sept. 27 board session as fall registration winds down.

WESTWOOD -- Westwood Youth Soccer is holding a mandatory virtual preseason coaches meeting this week, with two sessions offered so coaches can attend either date: Monday, Aug. 31, or Tuesday, Sept. 8. The league's board of directors has scheduled its next meeting for Sept. 27 at 7 p.m.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Late registration for grades K-8 in Westwood Youth Soccer's Fall 2026 season remains open, though the league says space is limited in some programs. Registration for the separate PreK Weekly Soccer Skills program is full; players must be age 4 by Nov. 1, 2026, to qualify for that program in future sessions. The league is also asking parents to consider volunteering as coaches, saying no prior soccer knowledge is required.
